The Hardest Worker

Let's pretend for a moment that everything is indeed God and All that IS is One Unit. All is Consciousness in one form or another. Even though humans are contested as the super mind of this earth, we will put that to rest for a while. The birds and the bees scurry about finding mates, building nests, caring for babies and eating. They do work hard, but you can see them taking a rest and actually, the birds sing out of pure enjoyment, occasionally. Maybe we can go smaller. The ants: After sometimes carrying a burden 50 times their own tiny body weight, they actually do sleep and my research suggests some sleep seven hours at a time! So, though they seem to be busy all the time, they may not be the hardest workers. At times, in the summer, I would swear the mosquito works overtime and its reward is my scratching. Fish work hard during mating and nesting, but I haven't a clue what they do otherwise. Monkeys and apes hang around a lot; horses seem to enjoy the field of sun and food. Elephants and tigers, bears and walrus are hardy workers when the need applies, but it seems the animal world has to be put to rest in this case. Now, I have seen super Moms put the task of finding the hardest worker into over kill. Up at dawn, they feed, dress, and prepare the children for the day and then run off to their jobs. They come home and take the kids to events, clean the house, wash the clothes, prepare dinner...well you get the picture. But they get tired too, so are they really the hardest worker? Can the hardest worker get tired? Can the hardest worker be vulnerable to dis-ease?

So I got to thinking...wait, is that it, is our thinking the hardest worker? Our brain is in high calculations all day and into the night. We dream and daydream. We fret and worry, love and bliss our consciousness with discovery. Can it be, that our brain is working the hardest? No, wait, there are those who can quiet the mind and we are told when we go into Delta, we are still. So we might put the human brain in second place. What is the hardest worker? TahDah!! An erg is a unit of energy derived from the Greek word meaning 'work'. It is definable in scientific terms as 'mechanical work' and is unquestionably the hardest worker known to this planet. It is Energy that is useful to all the above scenarios. It is available at our whim. It has no personal agenda so will come to our call without question. It is measurable and we don't even have to know it exists and it is still ours to use. We exercise our body.energy increases, we call on the healing energy.our hands get hot, we create an opening for change and the energy is ours before we ask. Can we celebrate the Erg? Across the expanse of the heavens, this unit of energy is consistently the same. We can breath it, eat it, sleep with it, think with it, scream with it or pull our hair out with it. It just keeps working. But it's essence responds within the Laws of the Universe. So the Erg will be more accessible as we learn to be more balanced. Proof is that the better we eat the healthier we are. The more attention we give to Light, the more balanced and loving is our life. Let us Celebrate the qualities of Energy and still our Mind to experience the quality of this tiny unit of Love. Lets hear it for the ERG.

Be The Light

Universal One, Impersonal Life, Power of One, Living in the Light, Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East, The Tao Te Ching (by Lao Tzu, is one of the most influential books in history.  It is the source of famous Chinese sayings such as "Those who know do not speak, those who speak, do not know" and "Even a 1,000 mile journey starts with a single step".)

These are book titles about the Power of Life and Love. The Tao Te Ching was written in the 4th Century BC. That was 6000 years ago! It has often been quoted 'there is nothing new under the sun' and as you read or study Taoism, you will find the quality of balanced living has been available to the collective consciousness for at a long time. yes"

The Hawaiian Huna (called The Secret for 15,000 years) has guided human evolution with decided demonstration of all that has been taught in the last 2000 years. There are hundreds of accounts of healing the sick instantaneously, healing broken bones within minutes of the break, bringing people back from the brink of death, and most amazing to teach a loving, living connection with God. I have studied the Huna since 1970 and my experience then wrapped me into the loving healing hands of a Kahuna healer. Butch Hassekester wasn't Hawaiian, he was a retired family doctor with German ancestry. He and his wife Dottie lived in Chugiak about 20 miles north of Anchorage, AK. Butch was about 70 when I first met him and of course, Dottie was ageless (because she would never give me her age). They lived in the basement apartment of their house in progress. A group of friends met for meditation on Tuesday nights at their home. At the time I lived at Alyeska, about 50 miles away. Every week I would come to the meeting and learn the wisdom of the ageless people who were to become my mentors. In 1972, Butch had a healing table, an assortment of Huna books, some 'electrical' gadgets for healing, and his Grey's Anatomy book dated 1891. This last book he left to me in his will. He wanted me to have all his electrical things, too, but I had no place to keep them.

Esmeralda was Butch's white cockatoo. She had a pink tuff beneath the crown of her top hairs (Butch had a few white tuffs so they kind of looked alike) and she had no intention to be out of her home cage. Butch used visualization to communicate with her. Their relationship was 12 years in the making, but in bird years they were about the same age. When she wanted attention...gracious, could Esmeralda screech!!She taught me a lot, too. (I do digress).

People have sought the Light of Consciousness for thousands of years. Great beings have escalated the depths of awareness by leaving the Path set by Orthodox ways and seeking the Universal One. Unlike any time in History, with the availability of the Internet and the eagerness of many to share the ancient knowledge, we are free to open our Mind to Be the Light.
